I chose the Vans: Off the Wall company because I love their shoes and the diversity, but simplicity in their designs. I've always wanted to design my own Vans and decided why not today?!

When planning my message and target audience, I wanted to focus on minorities and honoring various heritage months and cultures. Fashion is a unique way to show off how you identify and be proud of who you are. For the brainstorming step, I focused on traditional Vans shoe designs and added pops of color and cultural aspects. I would see this collection being available for a limited time, depending on the heritage or culture being celebrated that month. Finally, I sketched out a magazine flyer! The vision would be very simple with the focal point being the product!
