First look at the July 2020 cover of Fleek Magazine featuring Zendaya!
This assignment was my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE in my Visual Media Marketing course at Texas A&M University-San Antonio!
I loved the creative freedom I got to fulfill my dream magazine cover. My first step was figuring out what kind of magazine I wanted to make. I went with my interests in magazines I read already which are makeup and fashion. The magazine name 'Fleek' came from a vine I was obsessed with years ago and the word means that you look amazing or something about you is "on point." My magazine would cover the latest trends, recap old ones, focus on skincare, fashion discussions, and related giveaways. Instantly I knew that I wanted Zendaya to be my front cover model as she is a fashion icon and I appreciate the risks she takes in the fashion world. Finally, I just had to come up with highlights and a contrasting theme for the magazine cover. Overall, I'm so proud of how the cover turned out!
